A short documentary by award-winning filmmaker Dominique Murphy-de Neef, exploring the lived experiences of Irish and Pakistani community elders in Cricklewood. The film celebrates the history, heritage and resilience of two immigrant communities who came to the UK to build new lives, offering a vivid portrait of what Brent was like in the 1950s.

Through intimate interviews, the documentary preserves oral histories from elders across both communities, capturing their memories of arrival, work, family life and community in Cricklewood during its time as a thriving industrial hub.
